Active Bystander Training

Description

At NCAS, we are committed to maintaining a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative research environment. This interactive 75-minute online workshop equips you with practical skills to safely challenge or call out inappropriate behaviors, microaggressions, or bullying if you see them happening.

Using example case studies to practice the variety of ways you can be an active bystander, the training offers strategies on resolving conflict at work, advocating for yourself and your colleagues, and provides clear guidance on treating everyone fairly and respectfully in a research setting. While the training is interactive, there is no expectation for all attendees to speak during the session.
