NCAS Media Training (A): Online

Description

Next session: online February 3, 2026 11:00

Media engagement brings real benefit to NCAS, however that engagement can come with risk. This engaging 90 minute online session maximises the potential of speaking to journalists whilst minimising possible pitfalls.

Led by a former BBC journalist and designed especially for NCAS staff we'll bring our insights to the session, as well as draw on testimony from researchers and journalists. We’ll also play plenty of examples of researchers getting it right (and occasionally wrong) in interviews.

We kick off with a fundamental question - why bother talking to the media? - then demystify the process as it progresses from there. No stone in the media landscape will be left unturned, and we hope you’ll be able to join us.
